BM 200 HP VAC digital microwave beams

The BM 200 HP VAC digital microwave beams are reliable intrusion detectors used for exterior perimeter protection. The VAC series is powered directly from the main power source and includes an optional backup battery to compensate for power outages. The electrical power supply simplifies the wiring and reduces installation costs.

BM consists of 2 units - 1 transmitter (TX) and 1 receiver (RX) - installed at a maximum distance of 200 meters. The transmitter continuously emits microwaves to the receiver. When an intruder passes between the two units, the received signal is consecutively reduced, and when it reaches the alarm level, the alarm is triggered. Additionally, these barriers allow for the detection and signaling of accidental and permanent beam interruptions.

The BM integrates flat antennas that reduce the sensitivity area by 20% compared to the old parabolic antennas. BM can be installed at greater distances for the same perimeters, saving costs. Additionally, to protect against rain, parabolic antennas use large, cumbersome waterproof housings, while BM's flat antennas are highly protected by tropicalization and installed in high-resistance protective covers that prevent condensation and the development of rust.

These microwave barriers are placed in specially designed containers to tolerate and facilitate delicate installations. They operate in all weather conditions (snow, rain, fog) without reduction in distances, unlike active infrared beams.
